About the Partners

Terry Skittles FCA FCCA (terry@numis.ltd.uk)

Terry qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1988 and after a few years obtaining post-qualification experience, set up his first practice in 1992. He additionally qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant this same year. He has therefore been a principal and senior partner in practice for over 20 years.

After 11 years as a senior partner and with specific responsibilities for audit, ethics & all technical matters, he resigned and set up Numis Limited, in order that clients could be offered a bespoke and personal service specifically tailored to their individual needs.

Terry is married with two young daughters. When time allows, he can occasionally be found on the golf course and enjoys tinkering with his cars. He is also a keen, though not particularly talented, skier.

Kirstie Wells BSc ACA (kirstie@numis.ltd.uk)

Kirstie has a first class honours degree in Physics and maths, which she obtained from Sussex University.

She qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000, and in her final exams was first in order of merit in the South East Society of Chartered Accountants, and in her final admitting exam achieved tenth in order of merit from the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

In February 2003 Kirstie joined Numis Limited and obtained her practicing certificate.

Outside of work Kirstie spends most of her spare time renovating her 300 year old sandstone cottage. Over the past few years, together with her husband, she has built a two storey extension to the cottage which has consumed most of her spare time and energy.

Kirstie also regularly attends yoga classes, and if she has any additional spare time enjoys scuba diving. She is a qualified PADI divemaster, and sometimes helps to train people to dive.
